Summarized Answers to Action Item 1
Popular culture consists of the artifacts that compile our daily activities. Popular culture effects our lives as all of the components of popular culture compete through advertising and marketing for our attention. Popular culture is relevant to my business environment as keeping up on the most current ideas, products and issues are important for my future endeavors. My career is centered on the legal field which requires utilizing software programs for performing legal research. Westlaw research engines would definitely be a good example of pop culture. Not everyone is aware of what exactly Westlaw is; however, the members of the legal field are fully aware of the software entity of Westlaw and would probably agree of how important this product has became and how it has helped the legal research evolve into another dimension.
